Today's Recipe ~ Apple Cranberry Crisp (Low-Cal and Yummy!)

1/2 cup of flour
1/4 cup of sugar
1 tbsp of sugar (for apples)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup of butter or margarine
7 cups of sliced, peeled apples (Golden Delicious works best)
1/4 cup sweetened dried cranberries (optional, if you don't like them, don't include or substitute raisens)
1/2 tsp ground ginger

Mix flour, sugar, and brown sugar together in a small mixing bowl. Cut in the stick of butter until the mixture forms into crumbs.

In a seperate mixing bowl, stir apples, cranberries, ginger, and 1 tbsp of sugar.

Coat an 8 x 8 pan with cooking spray. Place mixed fruit into the pan in an even layer. Sprinkle crumb mixture evenly on top of fruit layer.

Bake at 400 degrees for thirty to thirty-five minutes. Top should be golden in appearance.

Let cool for fifteen minutes, then enjoy!
